Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose, has warned opposition parties against reliance on negative criticism and blackmail of President Goodluck Jonathan as the core strategy of wresting power from him.
The governor urged caution by opposition parties and other critics considering Jonathan’s achievements in office and the fact that the South-South region, where he comes from, still accounts for the bulk of the revenue generated to sustain the country. The president, he said, should not be bullied out of the presidency.
“We should remember that the economy of this country lies in the South-South, so we must strike a balance,” Fayose said.
