The U.S Dept. Of Commerce and the Presidency have officially banned two social media App WeChat and TikTok.

Starting from Sunday the app would be blocked and banned by Nov 12, 2020

These Apps will still be available for use by the public but would have less functionality and significant changes

It was observed by U.S intelligence that TikTok app contains malicious content, used to collect individual data and spy on some targeted officials/users

TikTok has over 100 million users and WECHAT has approximately 19 million user in the United States

These two app were made by a Chinese software development company. recently these two app was ban from India and might be ban from other countries soon.
